Everything old is new again . . .

Classic Millennium Falcon toy reissue
From Wired magazine, as mentioned in Boing-Boing:
Hasbro has reissued its classic line of Star Wars action figures with the flagship Millennium Falcon playset leading the pack — updated with missile firing action and a blue LED thinggum just to prove that it was manufactured this season.
When my son was young, he desperately wanted this toy.  We told him that he could have it if he could spell it (he was/is a terrible speller).  The smart-aleck went to the store and carefully copied down the name from the box on the shelf!  He still has his original Millenium Falcon, proudly displayed in his East Village apartment.
His 30th birthday is in July — should I get him the new one?

I read about your site on lm_net and wanted to check it out. When I read about your son and the millenium falcon, I had to post a reply. My husband is 32 years old and for Christmas I bought him the new Millenium Falcon and he loved it! I say definitly get the new one for your son's birthday!
